JCHS Debate, led by Ava Greenwald and Joseph Levi, has kicked off its second year with remarkable momentum, building on its impressive performance at the Princeton Model Congress last year. Highlights include Debate President Ava Greenwald's participation in the Supreme Court and Ruthie Assaraf's bill, which passed all the way to “law.” With double the preparation time for the upcoming Model Congress tournament, the team is poised for even greater achievements. JCHS Debate is also expanding its horizons this year as we begin signing up for more local and national competitions. These opportunities will further develop the team's skills and establish them as a formidable force in the debate arena for years to come. The team’s growth is also marked by their commitment to enhancing their debate techniques and strategic thinking. Increased exposure to diverse debating formats and issues will not only boost their confidence but also broaden their perspectives. As they continue to build on their past successes and embrace new challenges, the JCHS Debate Club is set to make an even more significant impact in the debate world this year.
