On December 30, JCHS celebrated Chanukah with two days of fun and joyful memories. Students and teachers came together to enjoy the spirit of Chanukah. The day kicked off with everyone designing custom Chanukah-themed hoodies.  Each hoodie featured unique patches that represented JCHS, adding a personal touch. The excitement continued with a trip to the Baptist Health Iceplex.  The rink was filled with laughter and joy as students and teachers made great memories on the ice. The day ended on a sweet and happy note, bringing everyone closer and leaving smiles all around. The next day, December 31, began with an exciting pickleball tournament. Students and teachers faced off in intense matches, filled with friendly competition and enthusiasm. The tournament fostered teamwork, school spirit, and plenty of smiles. Beyond the tournament , students had the chance to create personalized keychains with uplifting messages and photos. Ms. Shosh brought her Polaroid camera, turning captured moments into stickers that everyone loved. After the tournament, we all gathered back at school for the JCHS Talent Show. The talent show showcased spectacular performances from both students and staff. The highlights of the show included Tali, the school security guard, singing a Bob Marley classic, Jeff on the drums, and an incredible performance of Justin Bieber’s Beauty and the beast by students Dani, Ruthie, Claudia, and Mimi. These two days not only brought JCHS closer together with wonderful memories, but they also captured a lot of the light and excitement of Chanukah.
